The first RUSLEF fellows came to American law schools in the fall of 2002. Fellows come for an academic year from a variety of cities and law schools in Russia to attend law schools across the United States. Russian cities represented to date include Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, and Velikiy Novgorod. American law schools that have or are now hosting RUSLEF’s fellows include the University of Arkansas Law School (Fayetteville), Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, the University of Maine Law School, the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, and Washington & Lee Law School. The fifteen RUSLEF fellows below have no completed their year of study in the United States.

2008-2009
Maria Puzrakova, Maxim Gubarev, Anna Nikulina and Yekaterina Yegorova were RUSLEF fellows during the 2008-2009 academic year. Maria and Anna studied at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Yekaterina attended the University of Maine Law School, and Maxim studied at the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville). Maria, who is from Sergiev Posad, completed her Specialist in Jurisprudence degree from Moscow University in June 2007 and her LL.M in June 2009 at McGeorge Law School. She is now employed in the law firm of White & Case in Moscow. Anna is from Kazan and has completed the third year of her Specialist degree in the law faculty of Kazan State University, while Yekaterina, who is from Novgorod, has finished her third year of the Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in the law faculty of Yaroslav the Wise, Velikiy Novgorod State University. Maxim, also from Novgorod, has completed the fourth year of his Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in the law faculty of Novgorod State University.

2007-2008
Anya Cheryokova and Andrey Gvozd were RUSLEF fellows during the 2007-2008 academic year. Both are from Velikiy Novgorod. Anya studied at the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) while Andrey was at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Andrey received the Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in June 2008 from the Yaroslav the Wise Velikiy Novgorod University and also the LL.M degree from the McGeorge School of Law. Andrey is now employed in Moscow as a lawyer at the Federal Grid Company of United Energy System. Anya received the Specialist in Jurisprudence degree from Yaroslav the Wise Velikiy Novgorod University in June 2009. She is now employed in Moscow as Assistant to Deputy Vladimir Golovnev, Chairman of the Business Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

2006-2007 
Ekaterina NaumchenkoSergei GusevSergey Gusev and Ekaterina Naumchenko were RUSLEF fellows during the 2006-2007 academic year and studied at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge school of Law in Sacramento, California. Sergey is from Velikiy Novgorod, and is a student at Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University Law Faculty in Velikiy Novgorod. Ekaterina is from St. Petersburg where she earned her Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in June 2004. She is now a Ph.D candidate at St. Petersburg State University Law Faculty. Sergey is now completing his final year of study for the Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in Novgorod. Ekaterina received her LL.M degree from McGeorge Law School in June 2007 and is currently serving a one year internship with United Technologies Corporation.

2005-2006 
Svetlana VorobyevaIrina FeofanovaDuring the 2005 – 2006 academic year, RUSLEF’s fellows were Svetlana Vorobyeva who studied at the McGeorge School of Law of the University of the Pacific and Irina Feofanova who studied at the University of Arkansas Law School in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Svetlana is from Chelyabinsk. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University Law Faculty with a Bachelor of Jurisprudence degree in 2005 and earned an LL.M degree while at the McGeorge School of Law. Svetlana is now employed in Moscow as a lawyer at Haynes and Boone International. Irina graduated from the Law faculty of Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University in June 2007 and is now enrolled in the LL.M program in Agricultural Law of the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville).

2004-2005 
Sergey LomakinSergey Lomakin was a RUSLEF fellow during the 2004-2005 academic year. Sergey is from Velikiy Novgorod and studied at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law of Cleveland State University. He graduated from Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University Law Faculty in June 2005 and has now completed the requirements for the LL.M degree at Cleveland State University. He graduated from Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University with a Specialist in Jurisprudence degree in June 2005. Sergey is currently employed at Baker & McKenzie in Moscow.

2003-2004 
Marina TrebukhinaArtur OganesyanDuring the 2003 – 2004 academic year Marina Trebukhina and Arthur Oganesyan were RUSLEF fellows. Marina, who is from Severodvinsk, studied at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine. She is now enrolled in the University of Southern Maine’s Master’s Degree Program in Public Policy and Management. Marina received a Specialist in Jurisprudence degree from St. Petersburg State University in 2003. Arthur is from Velikiy Novgorod and studied at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in Sacramento, California. Artur was awarded the LL.M degree for his work completed at McGeorge School of Law. He received a Specialist in Jurisprudence degree from Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University in June 2006 and is now employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers in St. Petersburg.

2002-2003 
Irinia TimoninaOleg ZadubrovskiIrina Timonina and Oleg Zadubrovsky were RUSLEF fellows during the 2002 – 2003 academic year. Both students are from Velikiy Novgorod and studied at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. Both graduated with Specialist in Jurisprudence degrees from Yaraslav the Wise Novgorod State University in June 2004; each was awarded the LL.M by McGeorge School of Law and are now employed in St. Petersburg. Irina is employed in the offices of Baker & McKenzie in St. Petersburg, while Oleg is employed at Gazprominvest.
